ERSA racer T J Baldwin from Norfolk took part in the World Championships downhill race at Garmisch on Saturday and came 38th on a very exhausting course. Well done TJ, excellent experience and the full results can be found here.

Pontypool ski centre will open for the races this year as confirmed by Snowsport Wales, see the attached release.

This year Welwyn Garden City race team will host their first club national. There have been other club nationals there in the past but this is the first one for the resident ski team will have hosted one, 7th May.

In addition it has now been confirmed that the slope is STILL homologated for Parallel Slalom (it had been thought that part had elapsed). This means that the club can bid again to host the SSE Inter Regional, something they lost out to Gloucester this year.

The Anglo Scottish races took part at Les Houches in France on the 2nd and 3rd January. Several racers from ERSA took part and performed extremely well. The full results are below;

ERSA are pleased to announce that the first schools race, the Eastern Counties School Championships, will take place on Saturday 24th September 2011.

Unfortunately due to lack of numbers we have had to cancelled the event.

Just a reminder that we are holding a fun event on Saturday 11th December over at Welwyn from 2pm - 7pm. Over the season we have had feedback from racers that they would like to do something over the winter season and this year we are giving this a first try.
