Timing Setup Introduction 2006
The ERSA clubs requested that knowledge be given on the ERSA timing to enable other people to be familiar with the equipment and the setup of the timing..
The basic reason for the meeting was to explain how the ERSA timing worked, the setup for individual races and for team events, both head to head and relay.
All equipment was demonstrated along with the TDC 8000 timer box to a very basic nature.
It was felt that to “get to know” the timer a more detailed and extended briefing should be given. ALGE, the makers of the timer, run a course to explain the TDC8000 which lasts a week. ERSA will continue to provide information and advice to interested members of the region as an when required.
Below are the “setup” sheets for the different aspects of the regions timing.
- Basic timing using cables
- Basic timing using radios
- Team event - Head to Head
- Team event - Relay
- Team event - SSE Rules
- Rear of TDC8000 - cable connections
