  • 2013 Race Format update

    We recently posted an update to the proposed format for 2013 here. Thanks to everyone for their feedback from all clubs and it certainly was mixed but very welcome. As a result of the feedback the proposal has been updated to the following;

    Indoor

  • Robert Poth success at night slalom

    Congratulations to Robert Poth who came first in the U16 night slalom in Ellmau, Austria on the 28th December. He finished ahead of his close team mate Jordan Fellows. Also well done to Alex White who came in 9th.

  • Winter Draw – TJ Baldwin

    The draw took place on the 22nd December for the TJ Baldwin and Dougie Crawford raffle and raised over £5,000. Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket and well done to those who won. If you would like to find out more contact Andrew Baldwin at home@andrewbaldwin.ukfsn.org.

  • ERSA Update

    The minutes from the committee meeting last weekend have been published http://bit.ly/UkUDXF. There is a summary talking about the improvements for the 2013 season and more details will follow over the next few weeks.

  • 2012 Tri Regions

    Last weekend the 2012 Tri Regions event took place at Bromley ski centre. This annual event pits the racers from ERSA, SRSA and LSERSA against each other in a day long dual slalom race. The first stage consists of league stages with each team going through to one of the three knockout competitions.

    This year ERSA performed extremely well in all competitions. Full results can be found here.

    Tri Regions update

  • Raffle tickets for a Holiday and Mens Downhill Team

    Win an all Inclusive ski holiday for two at Banff/Lake Louise for £10 and help support the British Men’s Alpine Downhill team.

    As part of the team’s fundraising for the 2012/13 season a raffle has been organised with a fabulous holiday as first prize donated by Canadian Affair. There are just 1000 tickets on sale at just £10 each. This will hopefully raise £10k towards their overall target of around £50k.

  • TJ Baldwin 2011/2012 Report

    TJ.Meribel.GS.EC-smallTJ competed for team GB for the whole of the 2011/12 season in 38 races.

  • Tri Regions selection details

    Thank you to everyone who has put their name down for the Tri Regions race on the 13th October. We will confirm teams at the end of this coming weekend but the following racers have been selected. The reserves are at the end of the list. If you are unable to attend on that day please let Bernard Wright know ASAP at chair@ersa.co.uk.

  • ERSA Champs 2012

    Firstly thanks to everyone who took part in both days of the ERSA Champs over the weekend, it was a great couple of days at both Welwyn and Hemel. Thanks to both clubs for hosting the events, all parents for helping and especially the committee members who put in all the hard work before, during and after the races.

  • ERSA Champs

    The ERSA champs take place at the end of the month full details here,

    Outdoor at Welwyn - Saturday 29th September

    Indoor at Hemel – Sunday 30th September

    Closing date: Friday 21st September

    On the Saturday the race will start an hour later than normal at 9.15am and on Sunday 7.00am.

  • Senior and Masters Training

    I recently sent out an email to people about a special training session for the Masters in the near future, thanks to those who replied. We have now been able to sort out a date with the Hemel Snow Centre and thanks to Team Evolution we will be holding the training session on Sunday 7th October from 2pm - 7pm. It is open to those racers training with an ERSA regional club and any Senior or Masters.

    Programme for the afternoon will be;

    2.00 - 3.00 - Introduction off slope work
    3.00 - 6.00 - On slope coaching
    6.00 - 7.00 - Off slope work and debrief
